Zilla Fatu Explains Why Did He Leave Booker T’s Reality Of Wrestling School

1 years ago By Sports Desk

Zilla Fatu, the son of the late WWE legend Umaga, recently left Reality of Wrestling (ROW), and he’s now revealed the reason behind his departure.

This news came as a surprise because Fatu had just started working with ROW in late 2022 and had only made his in-ring debut in July 2023.

In July, Zilla Fatu made his official professional wrestling debut and won his first match using his father’s signature move, the Samoan Spike.

A few weeks ago, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T announced that Fatu was no longer with ROW.

In a recent interview with Apples & Grapes Media, Zilla Fatu explained that he left because his vision for his future didn’t align with Booker T’s ideas.

“It’s all about love and respect. I still want to see Booker T and his school succeed. It’s just that my vision was different. Book and I had a conversation, and some things couldn’t work out. Our visions didn’t align, so we parted ways, but it was respectful, and we’re still on good terms.”

“It’s not like I don’t want to see him succeed anymore. It’s all love. I have to go my way, and he has to go his way. Everyone has their path to the top. That’s all I can say about that. I still want to see them succeed. Shoutout to Book, shoutout to Reality of Wrestling. If you’re in Houston, check them out. I appreciate everything Book and his school did for me. I’m grateful for the trainers and individuals there. It was a friendly and well-structured environment,” Zilla Fatu stated.

He also shared his admiration for Booker T, calling him a legend with more experience in wrestling than he has years in life. He mentioned that Booker T had a close connection to his father and that the Reality of Wrestling was where the Usos got their start. Although it was tough to part ways due to their connection, he emphasized that there was no animosity, and he wished them success. He’s now focused on his journey and enjoying the process, with no ill feelings towards Booker T or anyone else.

Booker T had hinted at the possibility of Zilla Fatu joining the Bloodline alongside Roman Reigns in WWE.
