WWE RAW Preview And Prediction: How, When & Where To Watch In USA, Europe & India – 21st August 2023
PREVIEW
This week’s Raw takes us to the Centre Videotron, in Quebec, Canada,Canada where winter may have come early this year. The cold war between Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon. Also advertised on the card is the King of Strong Style, explaining what led to his actions last week and why he took out the Messiah and did not enjoy sharing the spotlight with one of the most decorated superstars in all of sports entertainment. Nakamura has emphasised, just like Drew McIntyre, on countless occasions that he is not one to be pushed aside and expects the same royal treatment to be dished out to him. Chad Gable seems to be wearing the captain’s armband and will march towards the great wall of the Imperium.
MATCHES
Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus in a Steel Cage
A rivalry that has been pushed too far, Trish Stratus may find it hard to overcome the man Becky Lynch, whom she had defeated with the help of Zoey Stark. Trish Stratus mentioned that this week’s episode of Raw will prove fatal for Becky Lynch as she looks to take down The Man. If reports are to be believed, it will be one of the most punishing matches on tonight’s edition of Raw. This rivalry may not go to payback, and expect some fireworks in tonight’s episode of the Steel Cage match.
Nakamura vs. Rollins
In Japanese or English, Shinsuke Nakamura has to answer a lot of questions to a lot of people in Winnipeg for this week’s edition of RAW. Nakamura was part of a 6-man tag team match where he attacked Monday night’s Rollins with a Kinshasa after defeating the judge. Both Seth Rollins and the King of Strong Style have nothing to prove to the fans. But with neither head bowing for the other’s respect, a match between the two may just be on the cards very soon. We expect this issue to be addressed this week in Canada.
The Miz vs. LA Knight
The Los Angeles native is known to get the crowd going like no one else. It’s like he is enjoying every bit of his job, which is to please crowds the world over. LA Knight is a natural on the microphone, and not so long ago, WWE fans knew another natural on the microphone, The Miz. The winner of Tough Enough is bent on proving that his time has not gone by and that it isn’t a case of sour grapes.
Drew McIntyre and Riddle vs. New Day
Drew McIntyre will team up with Riddle and take on the New Day. This new partnership started last week when Riddle approached McIntyre, and the former Royal Rumble winner promised to watch his back should Riddle not get anyone by night. It must be noted that Drew McIntyre is now tipped to take up Randy Orton’s role and lead RK-Bro. Drew McIntyre still doesn’t find himself anywhere around Roman Reigns or Gunther and may look to use this momentum to jump back to the main event scene.
Gunther vs. Chad Gable for the Intercontinental Championship
Chad Gable has taken his faction, The Alpha Academy, by leaps and bounds. The successor to Cesaro’s throne as ‘pound for pound’ the strongest superstar in the WWE looks to make an example of the Ring General, whom Chad Gable is challenging for the Intercontinental Championship. Gunther is the second-longest reigning champion in the business, only behind the Head of the Table. Chad Gable has never been closer to being champion, and should the other members of the Imperium not interfere, we may just see a classic match that hasn’t happened for a while.
