WWE Raw Preview And Prediction: How, When And Where To Watch In USA, Europe And India – 16th October 2023

2 years ago By Sports Desk

Fans of the wrestling universe are in for a treat as the Season Premiere episode of WWE RAW is all set to be broadcast live on October 16, 2023. The Paycom Center in Oklahoma City will be the epicenter of all the action. The excitement among the fans is high, as WWE has promised some worthy clashes for the show. This includes two championship defenses, a special stipulation match, and much more, promising the viewers a nail-biting experience.

The WWE universe has been abuzz with speculation and predictions about the match card. One of the most anticipated matches is the defense of the WWE Intercontinental Championship, where “The Ring General” Gunther will square off against the #1 Contender Bronson Reed. Gunther has truly made a mark in WWE history by becoming the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion, breaking The Honky Tonk Man’s impressive record of 454 days. Given his history, it’s no surprise that many believe he holds the upper hand against Bronson Reed. Reed, however, is no pushover. He has been a dominant force in recent times, overpowering the midcard and other #1 Contenders. But, the word on the street is that Gunther is predicted to retain his title by defeating Bronson Reed.

Then there’s the thrilling Falls Count Anywhere Match between Shinsuke Nakamura and Ricochet. Their animosity isn’t new to the WWE universe. They’ve been at odds since before the Money in the Bank event. While Nakamura had moved on to pursue the World Heavyweight Championship, Ricochet was embroiled in a feud with Logan Paul. The rivalry between Nakamura and Ricochet was reignited when Ricochet supported Rollins and faced an assault from Nakamura. Their skirmishes have led the Raw GM Adam Pearce to sanction a Falls Count Anywhere Match. If rumors are to be believed, this explosive face-off might end with Nakamura defeating Ricochet, likely after an intense brawl involving some weapons to up the ante.

Another match generating buzz is between Shayna Baszler and Rhea Ripley. Their feud was triggered by Nia Jax’s audacious assault on top wrestlers in the Raw Women’s division, which includes names like Rhea Ripley, Raquel Rodriguez, Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, and others. Over the past two weeks, these wrestlers have been locked in fierce brawls. The climax reached last week when Jax faced Rodriguez in the ring. The match turned chaotic when Rhea intervened, attacking Jax. Baszler didn’t stand by either, as she made her presence felt by assaulting both Jax and Ripley. This chain of events led Ripley to demand a match this week. However, industry insiders speculate that this match might not have a clear winner and could end in a no contest, likely due to multiple interruptions and an ensuing melee.

The tag team division also promises fireworks with the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship on the line. The current champions, Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso, are set to face their challengers, Judgment Day, comprised of Finn Balor & Damien Priest. The back story here is that Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso managed to snatch the championship from Judgment Day at Fastlane. This week, Judgment Day seeks to turn the tables and regain their lost title. Notably, this isn’t the first time Cody & Jey are defending their title. In fact, this would be their third title defense in just two weeks, having already showcased their prowess on Raw and SmackDown last week. Speculations are rife that the duo of Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso might retain their titles, either by a straightforward win or perhaps due to a disqualification.

Fans in India can watch the show on Sony Liv and Sony Sports Ten 1. Fans in the USA can watch the same show on the Peacock, while for Europe fans the show will be live on TNT TV.

With such a power-packed lineup, WWE RAW on October 16, 2023, is not just another episode but an event that promises high-octane action. Whether you’re in the USA, Europe, or India, make sure you’re glued to your screens to witness the spectacle that is WWE RAW. The thrill, the drama, the athleticism – it’s all waiting for you live from Oklahoma City. Don’t miss it!
