WWE NXT Global Heritage Invitational Standings And Results For 26th September 2023

The inaugural NXT Global Heritage Invitational Tournament is currently in progress. The competition commenced on August 29 and will ultimately determine the challenger who will vie for the NXT Heritage Cup Championship against Noam Dar at NXT No Mercy on September 30.

Group A

  1. Butch (2-0-1, 5 pts)
  2. Tyler Bate (2-1, 4 pts)
  3. Axiom (2-1-1, 3 points)
  4. Charlie Dempsey (0-2, 0 pts)

Group B

  1. Joe Coffey (3-1, 6 pts)
  2. Nathan Frazer (2-1-0, 4 pts)
  3. Duke Hudson (3-1-0, 4 pts)
  4. Akira Tozawa (0-3, 0 pts)

NXT Global Heritage Invitational – Group A Match: Butch emerges victorious against Charlie Dempsey (accompanied by Drew Gulak & Damon Kemp).

Dragon Lee participated in an interview with McKenzie Mitchell, expressing his desire for a shot at the NXT North American Championship. However, his conversation was abruptly interrupted by Mustafa Ali, who asserted that it was now his turn to contend for the title. Lee responded by voicing his distrust of Ali.

Ilja Dragunov delivered a backstage promo, emphasizing his aspirations to challenge for the NXT Championship. Nevertheless, The Meta Four (comprising Lash Legend, Jakara Jackson, Oro Mensah, & Noam Dar) intruded upon Dragunov, mocking his pursuit of a title shot. Mensah added an insult in German, prompting Dragunov to question why they shouldn’t join him in the lounge. The ensuing development sets up a match between Dragunov and Oro Mensah for the following week.

Von Wagner and Mr. Stone issued a challenge to Bron Breakker in response to his previous attack on Wagner. Wagner proposed a No Disqualification Match for the upcoming week.

NXT Global Heritage Invitational – Group B Match: Joe Coffey (accompanied by Wolfgang & Mark Coffey) secures a victory against Nathan Frazer.

Andre Chase conducted a class focused on the NXT Global Heritage Invitational Tournament and Duke Hudson’s participation in it. Thea Hail, who arrived significantly late, incurred Chase’s displeasure. Hail explained her tardiness by mentioning her plans to go out and disclosed that she had spent time with Jacy Jayne.

Their discussion was interrupted when Kiana James entered the locker room, expressing her frustration over her earlier loss to Tiffany Stratton. Tensions escalated as James and Perez exchanged heated words and forearm strikes.

Wes Lee made his way to the parking lot, announcing his departure, stating that he was “going home.” After his exit, a spontaneous backstage brawl erupted between Gigi Dolin and Blair Davenport.

In a Group A Match of the NXT Global Heritage Invitational, Butch emerged victorious against Tyler Bate.

Butch’s win in this match officially secures his victory in Group A of the Global Heritage Invitational Tournament.

A vignette showcased Thea Hail and Jacy Jayne enjoying a shopping excursion to find new clothing for Hail.

In a Group B Match of the NXT Global Heritage Invitational, Duke Hudson (accompanied by Andre Chase) secured a win over Joe Coffey (accompanied by Mark Coffey & Wolfgang).

Following the match, Kelly Kincaid conducted a backstage interview with Nathan Frazer. Frazer expressed his determination to win the tie-breaker and was promptly informed that the tie-breaker would take place later that night.
