WrestleMania 40: Unveiling The Epitome Of Wrestling Spectacle

2 months ago By Jhon Woug

The 40th edition of WrestleMania, the biggest stage of all, which the fans would never forget, was planned to be real action with exciting fights, great storylines, and thrilling plot developments. The zeal of WWE fans kept on growing as the final buzzer ticked past and the talking point that the World Wrestling Entertainment Universe would reflect on in the coming days began to fill the air.

Match 1: Ultimate Statement (Philly R-rated)

The Philly Street Fight match between The Last Testament and The Pride drama was the setter for the night fight since it was quite hot and made the crowd gasp. In spite of the frenetic raid of the match and also the presence of WWE-famous Bubba Ray Dudley, the braw was supposed to set the tone for the audience. The protagonist is dull, and she therefore is not the perfect match for the movie. Sometimes the camera positions interrupt the flow of the narrative, as in that love scene that is supposed to be thrilling but is actually boring.

Post-Match Analysis: The Philly Street Fight failed the height of storytelling and brawl that a WM opener is characterised with, hence many fans wishing for improvements. The addition of Bubba Ray Dudley relieved us of nostalgia, but, unfortunately, it was not enough to make our match an explosive one.

Rating: 2.5/5

Match 2: LA Knight against the opponent icon. AJ Styles

To LA Knight and AJ Styles on the other hand, there was a very lively affair which rounded up the intensity of these two rivals. The two rivals revealed their athleticism and cleverness; add to that the excitement that the match caused, and the average fan was in a state of anxiety. Nevertheless, an unequal show of goods and a hasty ending spoiled the game and prevented this latter from reaching its full grandeur.

Post-Match Analysis: The contest was exhilarating as the two competitors were visibly sold out and gave an anticlimactic finale. It was an entertaining match; however, it failed to encompass the element of something that breathes the air of the Great Welcome Night.

Rating: 3/5

Match 3: After setting up various divisions that are easy for the WWE production to keep track of, this figure does the same for crowds watching. Drew McIntyre vs. Father, the staring match for the night, is going to be between Damian Priest (World Heavyweight Championship).

One of the hardest sweaty bouts to keep up with was the World Heavyweight Championship match, with Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, and Damian Priest battling to the end to hold that championship gold. McIntyre’s nonstop aggression caught Rollins off guard, as his calculated schemes seemed to end Robbins’ winning streak. The entire night was topped by Rollins’ jaw-dropping Money in the Bank cash-in, where he reversed the decision and took the championship in a very surprising way.

Post-Match Analysis: The match for the World Heavyweight Championship title brought to reality its claim of intensity but also of high stakes. McIntyre and Rollins had their own moments and displayed their in-ring skills to the max, but it was the opportunistic act of Rollins—the cash-in—that set the stage ablaze, and the whole place was left buzzing.

Rating: 4/5

Match 4: Logan Paul Kng stands for. Randy Orton vs. Pre-Match: Kevin Owens (United States Championship)

The main event of the United States Championship, where Logan Paul and Randy Orton gave a fight of their lives and all of them wanted to win, was fantastic and showed what athleticism was. While minimal surprises occurred during the match, it gave the fans the thrill they were looking for with its mixed pace and close-to-the end moments of pin. Logan Paul’s fearless fight heightened the championship situation, opening up new conflicts among the fighters.

Post-Match Analysis: Not surprisingly, the match had a number of predictable moments, coming from the fact that it included Logan Paul. It, however, provides the ongoing US Championship events with some unpredictability factors. Orton as a villain was compelling; just as Owens demonstrated the glimmer of hope, it was Paul who proved that you never know where tough times can lead.

Rating: 3.5/5

Match 5: Aimai Iyo Sky vs.Bayley (WWE Women’s Championship)

Iyo Sky and Bayley, coming after each other for the WWE Women’s Championship, embraced the amazing abilities of these two amazing women. It was a battle between these two feisty women—the agility and tenacity of Sky and the street smarts and veteran skills of Bayley—that ruled the night on the greatest show of the sport. The whole match was the story of a steady build-up reaching its climactic conclusion, which became one of the outstanding performances.

Post-Match Analysis: The WWE Women’s Championship match was full of all the energy both competitors had, which combined with their talent and athleticism to make every move shine. Sky’s perceptible performance played a pivotal role in raising her young stardom status, and her experience proved to bode well for the coming of Bayley, bringing triumph to an end.

Rating: 4.5/5

Match 6: Roman Reigns is his name in the ring. Stone Cold Cody, excessively abbreviated by fans as Rhodes Undisputed WWE Universal: The Winner Still Rules (Bloodline Rules)

The actual fight of WrestleMania 40 was a complete masterpiece, as Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes fought each other for the gold medal in a close-door event. From the first moment the combatant applied the mat, both athletes performed at a masterclass of telling and athleticism, engrossing the audience through their giving talent in wrestling. Finally, it was Rhodes’ strong will and smart strategy that sent him erupting with the greatest of emotions on the WrestleMania 36 as he walked out of the ring as the undisputed WWE Champion.

Post-Match Analysis: The focal point indeed delivered on its expectation of carbon and tension. On that note, these two tag teams threw a wrestling bout of the time! The unbelievable experience that made the matchup a must-watch was the crowd-pleasing drama of the game, the jaw-dropping interference of the heel, and the unhoped-for victory of Rhodes that turned the fans to the edge of their seats.

Rating: 5/5

LA Knight vs. .AJ Styles

Then, what ensued later between LA Knight and AJ Styles was an electricity-filled battle, which, as could be expected from their feud, was as brutal as it was intense. The show exemplified how both went on to show their fierce desire to outwit one another as Knight was able to triumph in a career-highlighting victory. Although I enjoyed the fight itself and it kept my attention, it was kind of anticlimactic (not exciting enough) and didn’t satisfy the fans’ feelings.

Seth Rollins vs. .Drew McIntyre vs. Riddle (20×0 Renan Fugitivo) (Campeonato Mundo Pesado).

In this match, there are strong emotions among the audience members who expected the suspense of the Money in the Bank cash-in. With Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre in the ring and with their extravagant and continuous action sequences, they were able to hold their audience at the edge of their seats, as it was full of dramatic near falls and loud gasps. In the end, because of his obsession with CM Punk’s CM Punk Head, McIntyre was unable to retain the title, thus leading to an equally interesting leverage angle.

Logan Paul vs. .Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens (US Championship belt)

A comedian had a run-in with a wrestler while some of the warriors were performing some wonderful stunts and fierce battles. The stellar duo of Randy Orton and Kevin Owens added some extra spice to the whole thing, while the green around the gills Logan Paul happened to be able to hold his own against forerunners. Despite the abundance of expected moments in the game, the event showed spectators a perfect mixture of emotions and fascination. What is more, the event also knotted the hearts of viewers for several hours.

Iyo Sky vs. .Bayley (WWE Women’s Championship)

The clash for the WWE Women’s Championship proved that the intensive skills of Iyo Sky and Bayley could reach beyond the limits, achieving a spectacular performance of technique and emotion. The admirable energy from the spectators who were devoted to Bayley composed a high-class fight. Sky made an important show with her agility and resilience at the highest level there is. The slow-burn touched all the right chords, along with the electric finale, to make sure the song leads the music list of the night.

Roman Reigns vs. . Cody Rhodes’ (Triple Threat Universal Championship, No Disqualifications or Weapons)

The WrestleMania 40 main show was absolutely unbelievable, with an amazing balance between unreal actions and stunning surprises. Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes made the crowd so involved with their grappling style and narrative creation, which marked the brand new beginning of an unconditionally famous wrestle. The moment chaos took over into the last moments with multiple superstar interferences, the match finally reached the climax point, charming the audience. Rhodes fought tooth and nail, cheating and outsmarting nearly every opponent to earn his place in one of WWE’s greatest moments.

Post-Match Analysis and Ratings

LA Knight vs. AJ Styles: However, the show-stopping performance was not matched by the same vigour during sales, and the somewhat cliffhanger conclusion left the audience more than divided. Rating: ***

Seth Rollins vs.Drew McIntyre vs. Damian Priest: The WWE Heavyweight Championship match that was supposed to be drama and excitement lived up to its hype as there was a build-up that had a whopping amount of cash in the bank, with the action already intense. Rating: ****

Logan Paul vs.Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens: There could not have been a better combination of athletics, jokes, and competition necessary in order to achieve the goal of engaging the audience throughout the game.Rating: ****

Iyo Sky vs. Bayley: The WWE Women’s Championship clash proved itself to be an excellent display of both rivals’ technical and emotional sides, which resulted in an athletic and emotional match of a kind. The tension that started building slowly at the start of the story did reach a crescendo in the end, which made it an exciting pick among readers and critics. Rating: ****

Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes: The great number and, at the same time, the spine of WrestleMania 40 were a display of mastery in the art of storytelling and athleticism, combining both with absolutely no exception to what each and every one of the participating contestants had left in the ring. The visuals of jubilant emotion and the following transactions of the chaos that followed the victory of the Stone Cold make this event one of the most memorable moments in WWE history. Rating: *****

A Night to Remember

The ultimate night of the year in the WWE world, WrestleMania 40, presented not just a triumphant moment but also accurately depicted the hearts and abilities of the WWE roster. Of course, not every match actually went according to plan, but every game has shown fans extraordinarily breathtaking moments over the past few days that will be remembered for a long time to come.

But for the WWE Universe, nothing has been better than that one day when the house lights dimmed and the Last Bell sounded. It was a day that will live in the annals of WWE history because this memory will be ingrained forever and will only crave the next chapter.
