1 years ago By Sports Desk

The world of wrestling in Japan is about to get even more exciting. Today, WWE shared big news that is sure to have fans in Japan on the edge of their seats. WWE and ABEMA, a well-known media company, have decided to team up. This new partnership means that starting from October 2023, people in Japan can watch WWE’s top shows on ABEMA platforms. This is a big move, and fans are sure to be happy.

So, what exactly will WWE fans in Japan get with this new partnership? A lot! The best part is that they won’t have to pay extra for it. All the shows including Raw, NXT and SmackDown, will be available on ABEMA. So the fans from Japan can watch their favorite wrestlers and matches without spending any money. Plus, when they watch these shows, they will hear commentary in Japanese. This will make it easier for fans in Japan to follow the action and understand what’s going on.

But that’s not all. The new partnership will officially start on Tuesday, October 3. From that day, Raw will be shown every Tuesday evening at 8 pm. So, if you’re a fan in Japan, make sure to mark your calendars and set a reminder. You wouldn’t want to miss it. And if Tuesdays are for Raw, then Saturdays are for SmackDown. Just like Raw, SmackDown will also air every Saturday evening at 8 pm. These timings are perfect for fans to relax and enjoy the shows after a long day.

Now, some fans might be wondering, “What if I miss the show?”. No worries! ABEMA has got that covered. Both Raw and SmackDown will be available to watch anytime you want. That’s right! If you can’t watch them live, you can catch them later on-demand.

But what about NXT, another favorite among WWE fans? Good news! NXT won’t be left behind. Fans in Japan can also watch NXT anytime they want on ABEMA Video. This on-demand feature is great because fans can watch the shows when it suits them.

The fun doesn’t stop with just the regular shows. All of WWE’s special live events, known as premium live events (PLE), will also be shown live on ABEMA. These events are big deals with lots of action. The next big event is Fastline PLE. It’s happening on October 7. But because of the time difference, it will be shown on October 8 in Japan. So, if you’re a fan of Japan, you can look forward to watching it live.

For fans who love wrestling history, there’s more good news. Starting October 1, the entire collection of WrestleMania events will be available on-demand on ABEMA Video. WrestleMania events are special because they have some of the most memorable matches in WWE history. Now, fans in Japan can relive those moments anytime they want.

ABEMA is also planning something special for WWE fans in Japan. They will have a unique broadcast all about WWE’s streaming in the country. And guess who will be there? WWE Hall of Famer Keiji Muto, also known as the Great Muta. He is a legend in the wrestling world. And he’s not just attending; he revealed that he is now an “ABEMA Pro Wrestling Ambassador”. This is big news! Fans can watch this special broadcast on Friday, September 29 at 9 pm.

In short, there’s a lot of exciting WWE action coming to Japan. So, gear up, get ready, and enjoy the world of WWE on ABEMA!
