THIS Japanese Wrestler Wants To Face AEW’s Star Jon Moxley

9 months ago By Sports Desk

Japanese wrestling sensation Maki Itoh has thrown down the gauntlet, expressing her desire to step into the ring with All Elite Wrestling’s (AEW) top star, Jon Moxley. In a recent appearance on Colt Cabana’s Art of Wrestling podcast, Itoh boldly declared, “I want to wrestle Jon Moxley.”

Maki Itoh, known for her charismatic and fearless persona, has been making waves in the independent wrestling scene, most notably as part of the “Maki Death Kill” tag team alongside the hardcore wrestling icon, Nick Gage. She has also made several appearances on AEW TV, teaming up with the likes of Abadon and Riho to secure dramatic victories.

Itoh’s most recent venture into intergender wrestling saw her partner with Nick Gage in a heated mixed tag-team match against Matt Cardona and Steph De Lander at GCW Homecoming Weekend Tag 1. Now, she sets her sights on the newly crowned AEW International Champion, Jon Moxley.

Jon Moxley’s reputation in AEW is undeniable, having recently captured the AEW International Championship by defeating Orange Cassidy at AEW’s All Out event. This victory marked the end of Cassidy’s impressive 326-day reign as champion.

However, not everyone shares the same view of Jon Moxley’s in-ring style. Wrestling veteran Disco Inferno has criticized Moxley’s lack of sales and labeled him as one of the worst top guys in the business. Despite this criticism, Moxley’s intense and hard-core wrestling matches have garnered a significant fan following.

Maki Itoh’s challenge to Jon Moxley adds another layer of excitement to the world of professional wrestling. As the boundary-breaking nature of intergender matches gains momentum in the industry, fans are left wondering if AEW will heed Itoh’s call and grant her the opportunity to square off against Jon Moxley.

Maki Itoh’s desire to face Jon Moxley in an intergender match has ignited interest in the wrestling community. With Itoh’s determination and Moxley’s reputation as a formidable competitor, this potential showdown promises to be a spectacle worth watching for wrestling enthusiasts worldwide.
