The Miz is motivated by the younger WWE generation

2 years ago By Sports Desk

As The Miz’s 19-year WWE anniversary approaches, he defies the typical expectations of aging in the wrestling world. Despite his long and successful career, The Miz shows no signs of slowing down, asserting that he is still in his prime and delivering main-event caliber matches.

In a recent interview on “Busted Open Radio,” the two-time Grand Slam Champion attributed part of his continued motivation and durability to the ongoing “youth movement” in WWE. Embracing the influx of young talent, The Miz praises their impact on the product, particularly highlighting Dominik Mysterio as “the most over heel in professional wrestling” today. As he celebrates two decades in the industry, The Miz remains passionate and inspired, ready to take on any challenge that comes his way.

The Miz is motivated by WWE’s new “Youth Movement”

The Miz’s career has spanned nearly two decades, but age is not slowing him down. In his own words, he feels like he’s still in his prime, continuously bringing innovation to his matches and delivering performances of main-event quality. His ongoing drive and motivation can be partially attributed to the “youth movement” in WWE. The influx of young, talented superstars is revitalizing, pushing The Miz to be faster, better, and more engaged than ever.

“I feel like I’m putting together matches that are main-event caliber. I feel like I’m bringing out new things, things that people haven’t seen before. The younger crowd that’s coming in is revitalizing me and making me want to be faster, be better, do better. And I think the product right now is at its highest.

Within the “youth movement,” The Miz singles out Dominik Mysterio as an awe-inspiring talent. Since joining The Judgment Day, Mysterio has become “the most over heel in professional wrestling” today. His ability to draw deafening boos from the audience leaves The Miz in admiration, motivating him to push his own limits in the ring.

The Miz doesn’t stop at Mysterio; he extends his praise to other key players in the youth movement. Finn Balor receives special applause for his exceptional ring gear, promo abilities, and in-ring prowess. The rise of Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley also captures The Miz’s attention, recognizing their forceful presence in WWE.

Amid the women’s division, The Miz acknowledges the impact of Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair. Their performances have added excitement and energy to the product, keeping The Miz engaged and motivated to elevate his own craft.
