WWE Raw Preview And Prediction: How, When And Where To Watch In USA, Europe And India – 02nd October 2023

Gunther

On October 2, 2023, live from San Jose, California’s Sap Centre, WWE’s Monday Night Raw will return with another exciting edition. As the final Raw before Fastlane, this show is expected to be an exciting build-up with heated rivalries, confrontations, contract signings, preview bouts, and much more. With predictions and information about the programme, we give a detailed preview of the match schedule for WWE Raw on October 2nd in this post. Match Card Preview and Predictions Jey Uso’s continued conflict with the Judgement Day group has caused a wave of turmoil on WWE Raw. Tensions were sparked by Jey’s unwillingness to support the group, and they were further fueled by the event that occurred last week during Damien Priest and Finn Balor’s championship defence against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. The stakes are high as Jey Uso prepares to compete against Damien Priest in a singles bout. This match might have a big impact on the future of Raw’s roster because both superstars have a lot to prove. The anticipated fight promises brutal combat and gripping drama. The outcome of this duel is unknown, despite the excitement of the supporters. There is widespread speculation that this contest may not have a clear winner, mainly because of the probable intervention of numerous important actors. Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, Cody Owens, and Sami Zayn all have stakes in this conflict and have the potential to tilt the balance in their favour. If this match does actually end in a no-contest, it would open the door for Judgement Day and its competitors to engage in a lengthy and interesting conflict. The WWE Universe is paying attention to this storyline because of the escalating hostility and unpredictability, and a draw would simply add additional dimensions to the plot. In conclusion, Jey Uso vs. Damien Priest on WWE Raw is expected to be a nasty and very divisive contest. The result is still unknown because there are several factors at play and a chance for outside meddling. Whatever the outcome of this conflict, one thing is for certain: Judgement Day and their enemies’ conflict is far from done, and the turmoil will continue to develop in the coming weeks. WWE Raw now has an additional layer of excitement because of the upcoming match between Tegan Nox and Becky Lynch for the NXT Women’s Championship. It’s been nothing short of astonishing to see Tegan Nox rise so quickly to title contention, and her encounters with Becky Lynch recently have prepared the audience for a thrilling clash. Tegan Nox first got the chance to compete for this title after she went to Becky Lynch backstage and asked for a chance to win the coveted NXT Women’s Championship. To her credit, Becky took up the task. The route to this confrontation, however, took a surprising turn when Natalya entered the picture and confronted Becky. As a result, Natalya and Tegan Nox engaged in an impromptu bout; Tegan Nox won, establishing her as the legitimate contender. The WWE Universe is still interested to see how Tegan Nox’s campaign to unseat Becky Lynch plays out, despite the fact that the odds may appear to be stacked against her. Given that Becky is a dominant champion, many people think she will keep her championship. The element of surprise, though, remains huge, as rumours suggest Tegan Nox may turn heel after the bout. Such a turn of events might alter the Raw women’s division by introducing new rivalries and stories to the mix. In conclusion, Becky Lynch and Tegan Nox’s NXT Women’s Championship battle on WWE Raw looks to be an exciting contest. This match has the ability to have a lasting effect on the women’s division and lay the groundwork for captivating stories in the weeks to follow, regardless of whether Becky keeps her championship or Tegan Nox makes a shocking heel flip. The fight for the Intercontinental Championship, which will feature the current champion, Gunther, against the strong challenger, Tommaso Ciampa, is one of the most eagerly awaited matchups to come. A contract signing segment, a customary prelude to such high-stakes contests, has been arranged on WWE Raw before their title match. In the past, contract signings in the WWE have frequently been filled with tension, drama, and unanticipated turns. This signature is expected to follow the same pattern. When these two superstars square off, fireworks are certain due to the explosive combination of Gunther’s relentless supremacy and Ciampa’s unflinching resolve. The anticipation for verbal blows, hard staredowns, and even some roughness is strong for this contract signing. Given the tense nature of such processes, there is a good chance that this signing may degenerate into anarchy, with both rivals eager to establish their authority. Imperium and Alpha Academy, who have previously engaged in conflict in the continuing competition between Gunther and Ciampa, are there, which adds an additional element of intrigue to the situation. The involvement of the Imperium in the contract signing might result in an unprovoked attack on Ciampa, escalating the hostility between both sides. But Ciampa could be saved by the ever-vigilant Alpha Academy, which might lead to a six-man tag team match. Unquestionably, such an event would raise the stakes and excitement around this clash. In this case, the squared circle would serve as the new battleground, and the stakes for victory would be pride, reputation, and a championship trophy. One thing is certain as the WWE Universe anxiously awaits this contract signing and the potential turmoil that may result: the Gunther vs. Tommaso Ciampa feud for the Intercontinental Championship is one of the most fascinating stories on WWE Raw. The anticipation for their upcoming confrontation, which the contract signing served as the prologue to, is growing, promising an exciting confrontation that may completely change the complexion of the Monday night Intercontinental Championship situation. Since her comeback in September, Nia Jax has had nothing short of a meteoric rise in the WWE. Her route of devastation through Raw’s Women’s Division has

Ilja Dragunov Becomes The New NXT Champion, Beats Carmelo Hayes At NXT No Mercy 2023

Ilja Dragunov

In a thrilling match that had wrestling fans on the edge of their seats, Ilja Dragunov emerged victorious over Carmelo Hayes to become the new NXT Champion. This exciting event unfolded at NXT No Mercy 2023. This wasn’t just any match. It was the second time these two talented wrestlers went head-to-head, adding more tension to an already electric atmosphere. So really happened during the match, and how Ilja won the NXT Champion, here is the detailed match preview for you. Right from the start, Ilja wasted no time and dashed towards Hayes. He gave Carmelo a hard time with his powerful attacks. It was clear he wanted that championship title. But Hayes wasn’t going to let it be easy. After a series of stomps and hits, Hayes got thrown against the ropes. Dragunov, with a sudden burst of energy, moved swiftly to corner him. With a few quick moves, he knocked Hayes out of the ring. But Carmelo wasn’t going to stay down. He got up and, like a true champ, fought back with all his might. Back inside the ring, Hayes tried to gain control. He hit Ilja with some strong punches and even managed to take him to the corner of the ring. But Ilja had other plans. With a swift move, he sent Hayes spinning with a lariat. He then jumped high and landed on Hayes. It looked painful for Carmelo. Ilja didn’t stop there; he gave Hayes some sharp chops and even a powerful boot to the head. But the champ was resilient. He managed to get his shoulders up and avoid being pinned. With every move, Dragunov made it clear he was there to win. He continued his series of attacks, which included a knee to the head, stomps, and even a forearm strike. Just when it seemed Hayes might be in trouble, he showed his fighting spirit. He retaliated with his own set of chops. The match was a thriller for the fans out there. After a big show, both wrestlers ended up on the floor. But neither gave up. They both got to their knees and started exchanging blows. It was clear neither wanted to lose. They got back to their feet, and Ilja managed to hit Hayes with a kick to the head. But Hayes had an answer, as he responded with a kick too! He then used a springboard bulldog move on Ilja, trying to pin him. But Dragunov was not ready to give in; he kicked out. Hayes tried to keep up the pressure, stomping on Ilja and trying different moves. But Ilja, ever the fighter, blocked a kick and responded with a knee strike. He then lifted Hayes and slammed him hard onto the canvas with an elevated powerbomb. Just when we thought Ilja might win, Hayes fought back with a headscissors bulldog move, trying to pin Dragunov. But Ilja kicked out again. The match’s intensity only grew from there. Dragunov tried multiple moves, from climbing the turnbuckle to leaping into a codebreaker. Each time Hayes found a way to counter, even delivering a superkick to Dragunov. But every attempt to pin was met with resistance. At one thrilling point, Hayes tried to surprise Ilja by jumping off the top rope. But Ilja was ready and hit him with a clothesline in mid-air! He climbed the turnbuckle again and dived down, striking Hayes. The fans held their breath as Ilja went for the pin. And this time, Hayes couldn’t kick out. The referee declared Ilja Dragunov the winner. The stadium erupted in cheers as Ilja celebrated his well-earned victory. He was now the new NXT Champion.

Becky Lynch vs. Tiffany Stratton Title Match At WWE NXT No Mercy 2023 Review And Ratings

The WWE NXT No Mercy event in 2023 was truly incredible. It started with an intense singles match and included two major title changes. Dominik Mysterio lost his championship, and Ilja Dragunov became the new NXT Champion. The main event featured Becky Lynch causing chaos and winning a dangerous title match. In this article, we’ll discuss the highlights of the NXT No Mercy Main Event Match between Becky Lynch, the champion, and Tiffany Stratton, the Challenger. We’ll also provide our rating for this match. Let’s begin: Becky Lynch won the NXT Women’s Title from Tiffany Stratton on the September 12th episode of NXT television. Lynch’s presence as “The Man” helped attract viewers to that show. Since then, Lynch defended the title against Natalya on the main roster, but Stratton was determined to get another shot at Lynch. Tiffany Stratton and Kiana James even attacked Becky Lynch in recent weeks, with Stratton hitting the champion with a steel chair. This prompted Lynch to make their title rematch at No Mercy an Extreme Rules match. At NXT No Mercy, which took place in Bakersfield, California, after an eventful night that saw two title changes with Dominik Mysterio and Carmelo Hayes losing their belts, Becky Lynch and Tiffany Stratton squared off in the main event for the NXT Women’s Championship in an Extreme Rules Match. Tiffany Stratton had the opportunity to make it a third title change of the night. However, Becky Lynch had different plans. Lynch brought a shopping cart filled with weapons to the ring and at one point slammed her opponent into a pile of broken Barbie dolls. Stratton didn’t back down and retaliated by smashing Lynch through a steel trash can and onto the steel steps. After attacking Stratton with a barbed wire bat, Lynch was driven through the barricade by Stratton’s back handspring. Stratton followed it up with a gravity-defying Swanton Bomb onto Lynch through a table. Stratton went all out, attempting her “Prettiest Moonsault Ever,” but she missed and landed on a pile of chairs. Ultimately, Lynch managed to secure the victory by delivering a Manhandle Slam to Stratton onto a stack of steel chairs, retaining the NXT Women’s Championship. After the match, Becky Lynch acknowledged Tegan Nox, who had been watching at ringside. Nox is set to challenge Lynch for the NXT Women’s Title on WWE Raw next Monday. Their performance was outstanding, earning praise from both the live audience and fans online. Lynch and Stratton skillfully used weapons and props to keep the fans thoroughly entertained. However, their accomplishment goes beyond just having a great match. Becky Lynch and Tiffany Stratton made history by becoming the first pair of women to headline a Premium Live Event in WWE in over 900 days. The last time such an achievement occurred was at WrestleMania 37 when Bianca Belair defeated Sasha Banks for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship. Rating: A-. This match was incredible as they gave it their all. Stratton showcased skills beyond her level of experience, and losing to Lynch won’t harm her career. Lynch may not be at her peak, but she can still deliver on the big stage. It was a great match and one of Lynch’s best in a long time. Lynch knows she was in a tough battle.

WWE NXT Announces Tag Team Match For Next Week – 03rd October 2023

A tag team match has been scheduled for the upcoming episode of WWE NXT on October 3rd. Despite the recent presentation of WWE’s NXT brand event, No Mercy, the night did not conclude without announcing a few matches for the next week’s show on the USA Network. WWE’s NXT brand continues to thrive, and they have already confirmed a couple of matches for the upcoming week’s episode. Additionally, there may be some unresolved conflicts that could be addressed. At WWE NXT No Mercy, Butch faced off against Noam Dar for the NXT Heritage Cup. During this match, Gallus launched an attack on Tyler Bate, who was present at ringside in support of Butch. This interference by Joe Coffey ultimately cost Butch the match. Gallus’ interference at No Mercy not only prevented Tyler Bate from securing the Heritage Cup but also reignited an old rivalry. As a result, next week on NXT, Gallus will go head-to-head with Tyler Bate and Butch in a tag team showdown. Furthermore, there’s another intriguing matchup on the horizon as Gigi Dolin is set to take on Blair Davenport. The animosity between these two escalated when Davenport attacked Dolin in anticipation of their scheduled match on the September 26 episode. Following Davenport’s victory over Kelani Jordan at the NXT No Mercy Kickoff Show, Dolin retaliated with a surprise attack of her own. Now, Gigi Dolin will have an opportunity to seek retribution against Blair Davenport in a singles contest. Here’s the updated card for the October 3 episode of NXT: 1. Butch & Tyler Bate vs. Gallus2. Gigi Dolin vs. Blair Davenport3. The kickoff of the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament The booking for this episode promises an exciting mix of tag team action, a highly anticipated singles match, and the start of the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament. It’s shaping up to be an action-packed show that should keep fans eagerly tuned in. Share your thoughts and feelings about this lineup in the comments below!

Lola Vice, Arianna Grace, And More Star Announced For WWE NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament

The NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament lineup has been revealed, and it’s time to get excited for this event in WWE NXT! WWE is preparing for some major action in NXT, where female wrestlers will have the opportunity to showcase their skills. Let’s take a closer look at the competitors in this tournament. During WWE NXT No Mercy, a video package unveiled the lineup for the tournament. Eight talented competitors have been announced, including wrestlers from the main NXT show, NXT Level Up, and some new faces making their television debut. Among the participants, we have Dani Palmer, who was previously confirmed. The video also introduced Jakara Jackson, Lola Vice, Karmen Petrovic, Jaida Parker, Izzi Dame, Kelani Jordan, and Arianna Grace. Arianna Grace is the only competitor who participated in the 2022 edition of the tournament. Unfortunately, she had to take a break from action for almost a year due to an ACL injury. In the previous tournament, Roxanne Perez emerged as the victor, with Tiffany Stratton making it to the final. Lola Vice, Kelani Jordan, Jakara Jackson, and Dani Palmer have been regular fixtures on the main NXT television show in recent weeks. On the other hand, Karmen Petrovic and Izzi Dame made their debuts on NXT Level Up but are yet to make their presence felt on the main NXT show. The NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament is set to kick off on the October 3 episode of WWE NXT. At this point, the matchups for the first round have not been disclosed. The winner of this tournament will earn the opportunity to challenge for a championship title of their choice. In the 2022 edition of the tournament, Roxanne Perez won but failed to secure the NXT Women’s Championship from Mandy Rose. However, Perez later had a rematch with Rose and emerged victorious to claim the championship. NXT recently witnessed the Global Heritage Invitational, where eight stars competed in a round-robin style tournament. Butch and Joe Coffey faced off in the final match, with the winner earning a shot at the NXT Heritage Cup. Butch won the bout but was defeated by Noam Dar in a title match at No Mercy, allowing Dar to retain his coveted title. It’s an exciting time for NXT as we eagerly anticipate the outcome of the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament this year. With such a talented lineup, we can look forward to some thrilling matchups. 3 Talking Points From WWE NXT No Mercy 2023

WWE NXT presented a premium live event known as No Mercy! This NXT show had an impressive lineup, featuring five championship matches. Notably, three of these matches included talent from “Raw” and “SmackDown,” such as Dominik Mysterio, Butch, and Becky Lynch. Additionally, the event was set to either conclude or initiate several significant storylines, including the ongoing feud between Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin, and the evolving relationship between Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams. WWE NXT No Mercy featured title defenses across the board. This included a rematch between Tiffany Stratton and Becky Lynch for the women’s title but with an Extreme Rules stipulation, as well as a fatal four-way tag team title match. The Heritage Cup was also up for grabs in a contest between Noam Dar and Butch. Bron Breakker took on Baron Corbin, and the main event featured NXT champion Carmelo Hayes defending his title against Ilja Dragunov. While these were the major highlights, there were other exciting matches as well. Before the main show, on the pre-show, Blair Davenport defeated Kelani James, but Gigi Dolan then attacked Davenport, only to be chased away by referees. Here are the three key takeaways from WWE NXT No Mercy: 3) The Judgment Day Finally Suffers Defeat at NXT No MercyDominik Mysterio defended his title against Trick Williams at NXT No Mercy without any assistance from his Judgment Day faction, which led to his loss. This match relied too heavily on referee interventions, which is less appealing. Nevertheless, Dominik’s time in NXT has significantly improved his in-ring skills and overall presentation. This match also sets the stage for potential main roster action between Dominik and Dragon Lee. It’s worth noting that Trick Williams has played a supporting role to Carmelo Hayes for the past two years. While it’s unusual to describe a 6’4″ man as a sidekick, Williams has been the second-string member of the Trick Melo Gang, typically offering ringside support to his partner’s singles success in NXT. However, everything changed at No Mercy when Williams had a defining moment of his own by defeating Dominik Mysterio to become the new “NXT” North American Champion. This entertaining match was filled with various antics and referee distractions. Williams secured the victory by executing a raised knee strike and earning a three-count with special guest referee Dragon Lee officiating. 2) Multiple Challengers Required to Defeat ButchThe Heritage Cup storyline has extended further than initially anticipated. While the previous trophy holders, whether real or fake, deserve recognition, No Mercy demonstrated that this concept was more suited for premium live events. In this event, Noam Dar and Butch (disguised as Pete Dunne) engaged in an intense six-round contest. Dar emerged victorious after interference not only from his Meta-Four stablemates but also from Gallus. The match’s unique rules, point system, length, and complexity worked against Butch, and the involvement of multiple parties proved too much for him to handle, leading to his defeat. However, from the perspective of NXT No Mercy, the match received an excellent crowd reaction, and fans seemed to enjoy it. The Heritage Cup tournament now leaves us with an intriguing cliffhanger about what’s next for competitors and the Heritage Cup itself. This uncertainty adds a positive element to NXT’s future. 1) Dragunov Triumphs as New NXT ChampionA new champion has risen in NXT, and he certainly made an impressive mark with a decisive victory over the former “NXT” Champion, Carmelo Hayes. Ilja Dragunov, a former “NXT UK” Champion, left no room for doubt during No Mercy on Saturday night. His performance was nothing short of outstanding, and he undeniably earned this victory. It’s safe to say that the match can be described as a “slobber knocker.” At one point in the match, Carmelo Hayes seemed to gain some momentum, but he soon realized that the story of the bout was centered on how much punishment he could endure. Hayes took quite a beating but displayed remarkable resilience, continuously kicking out Dragunov’s attacks. The match was paced just right, where the brutal assault on Hayes made sense without going overboard and harming his character. To cap off the event, Hayes and Trick Williams shared a heartfelt moment, showcasing their bond. It leaves us wondering about the future for both Hayes and Williams now that only one of them holds championship gold. Will Hayes’ confidence be affected by this loss? We eagerly anticipate Tuesday’s next episode of “NXT” to see where this storyline goes. Furthermore, we’re highly interested in finding out who Dragunov’s next challenger will be. It appears that a heel turn for Carmelo Hayes might be in the works. So, these were the three main talking points from NXT No Mercy. Share your thoughts in the comments below.

WWE Smackdown Sees Boost Up In The Viewership Of Last Episode

WWE SmackDown

The world of professional wrestling is always buzzing with excitement, and this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown was no exception. With many fans tuning in to watch their favorite superstars in action, the show witnessed a rise in viewership numbers. According to the most recent figures, this week’s WWE SmackDown episode attracted 2.115 million viewers. Interestingly, this is the same as the number of viewers from the previous week. Although the viewership remained constant, the enthusiasm and thrill among the fans were visibly elevated. This surge in excitement may be attributed to the unpredictable events and remarkable performances that took place during the show. One of the primary reasons to turn the TV on this Friday night was the segment that opened the show. The popular team known as The Bloodline graced the ring. However, things took an unexpected turn when Karl Anderson, not scheduled to appear, suddenly hopped over the guardrail and launched a surprise attack on Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. This unforeseen incident set the stage for a spontaneous match between Jimmy Uso and Karl Anderson. After a series of well-executed moves and intense competition, Jimmy emerged victorious. But the action didn’t stop there. Two talented women wrestlers, Charlotte Flair and Bayley, faced off in a much-anticipated match. Charlotte Flair proved her mettle once again by defeating Bayley. And if that wasn’t enough to keep the fans on the edge of their seats, a major announcement followed. A triple threat match for the coveted WWE Women’s Championship at Fastlane was declared. The contenders? Charlotte Flair, Asuka, and the rising star, IYO SKY. This announcement has already started creating a buzz, and fans are eagerly waiting for this high-stakes match. Continuing the night of gripping matches, Rey Mysterio, a renowned figure in the WWE universe, defended his United States Championship title against Santos Escobar. In a display of agility, strength, and strategy, Rey Mysterio defeated Santos Escobar, retaining his title and proving once again why he is considered one of the best. However, the highlight of the evening was the closing segment. Just when the audience thought they had seen it all, The Bloodline turned their attention to none other than John Cena, a legendary figure in WWE. The attack on Cena seemed ruthless and one-sided until LA Knight, a superstar known for his charisma and skills, made his way to the ring. Coming to Cena’s rescue, Knight helped fend off The Bloodline. But that wasn’t the end of the surprises. In a move that shocked many, LA Knight went ahead and signed a contract, confirming that he would be partnering with John Cena at Fastlane. This alliance promises to be one of the most exciting pairings, and fans are eagerly looking forward to seeing them in action. While the viewership for this week’s episode remained at 2.115 million, the same as the previous week, there was a slight dip in the 18-49 demographic. The numbers were 699K, a small decrease from last week’s 758K. However, this did not affect SmackDown’s dominance as it continued to be the top show on broadcast television on Friday night. Such impressive numbers reflect the show’s immense popularity and its ability to keep the audience engaged week after week. In conclusion, WWE SmackDown has once again delivered a spectacular show full of surprises, intense matches, and dramatic turns. The rise in viewership, coupled with the announcement of thrilling matches for Fastlane, promises that WWE will continue to entertain fans around the world.

Footage Shows Matt Riddle Was Drunk During Airport Incident

Many fans weren’t surprised when WWE recently let go of Matt Riddle, as his career had its ups and downs. His journey seemed promising, but it often hit roadblocks due to issues outside the wrestling ring. Some of these issues included serious allegations of sexual assault made against him by indie wrestler Candy Cartwright in 2020 and multiple violations of WWE’s wellness policy. WWE released Matt Riddle on September 22nd, marking the end of this chapter in his wrestling career. The decision to release him was primarily due to his repeated mistakes and poor judgment. One notable incident occurred at JFK International Airport on September 9th, shortly after WWE’s tour in India for the 2023 Superstar Spectacle event. Reports emerged that Riddle claimed to have been sexually assaulted by a police officer at JFK Airport in New York City. Later, it was revealed that police encountered Riddle because he was behaving disruptively and disorderly. Riddle initially posted an Instagram accusing a Port Authority Police Officer of misconduct but later deleted it. This led to investigations by both the Port Authority Police Department and WWE. Reports suggested that Riddle was heavily intoxicated and disruptive during the airport incident. However, he was not detained or charged, and he did not file a formal complaint. This incident likely played a role in his release from WWE. One witness described Riddle’s behavior during a flight delay as obnoxious and loud. Riddle was denied permission to board the plane, and the police were called to intervene. Despite the incident, Riddle was allowed to leave without further consequences. In addition to these incidents, Riddle faced backlash from WWE management for going off-script during a promo in which he praised his former tag team partner, Randy Orton. TMZ posted a video from the airport incident, showing Riddle visibly drunk and behaving disruptively. Witnesses described his behavior as extremely rude and loud, which led to his flight denial and police involvement. Despite the setbacks, Matt Riddle had a successful run in WWE, particularly as part of the RK-Bro tag team with Randy Orton. However, his time with WWE has come to an end, leaving fans to wonder about his future in the wrestling world. Do you have any fond memories of Matt Riddle’s time in WWE? His last match for the promotion was his Intercontinental title bout with Gunther at the 2023 WWE Superstar Spectacle, which marked his first match in over 14 months.
