Seth Rollins Threw A Dart At Roman Reigns After The SmackDown Recordings, Shows Footage
Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns share a lengthy history in WWE, more extensive than most wrestlers on the current roster. They began their careers together on the main roster as part of The Shield, alongside Dean Ambrose. Currently, they both hold the most prestigious titles in the company on their respective brands. Nevertheless, their relationship has always been marked by rivalry, and Rollins didn’t miss the opportunity to take a jab at Reigns after the recent SmackDown episode.
Ever since Jey Uso parted ways with The Bloodline and delivered a superkick to Roman Reigns, The Tribal Chief has been conspicuously absent from television. His absence has left fans with only other members of The Bloodline and the internal conflicts within the faction.
Due to his extended absence, fans have been vocal about missing the presence of the biggest star on Friday Night SmackDown.
During SmackDown, Seth Rollins took a swipe at Reigns’ absence. He discussed the notable appearances of John Cena and LA Knight on the blue brand, emphasizing their impact. However, he couldn’t resist taking a pause to mock The Tribal Chief, pointing out that even the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion had been absent from the show.
Seth Rollins continued his comments during SmackDown, saying, “You’ve got LA Knight! You’ve got the greatest of all time, John Cena! You’ve got the Universal Champio…”
Furthermore, he paused intentionally, glancing around to ensure the fans grasped that he was subtly poking fun at Roman Reigns for not showing up, despite holding the prestigious title of Undisputed Universal Champion and being the top superstar on the blue brand.
Seth Rollins also showed respect and admiration for Bray Wyatt during the event:
At one point, when fans in the crowd lit up their phone lights, Seth Rollins acknowledged it by saying, “I love it…I love it, man…Love those fireflies out there” (in tribute to Bray Wyatt). He encouraged the audience to join him in singing, counting down, “Sacramento, on three…1..2..3…” The crowd then sang Rollins’ theme song in unison.
At the conclusion, Seth expressed his gratitude, saying, “You are the best crowd we’ve ever had in Sacramento…we love you, thank you…thank you.”
