NXT Star Tiffany Stratton Wants To Face Charlotte Flair In A Dream Match

1 years ago By Sports Desk

Tiffany Stratton, the former WWE NXT Women’s Champion, recently shared her top picks for the all-time great women’s wrestlers. It probably won’t come as a big surprise to most fans.

Tiffany, who’s gained quite the reputation in NXT with her impressive in-ring skills and signature move, the “Prettiest Moonsault Ever,” had a chat with Steve Fall from “WrestlingNewsCo.” During their conversation, she revealed her Mount Rushmore of women’s wrestling, and it’s none other than the Four Horsewomen: Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Bayley, and Mercedes Mone (formerly known as Sasha Banks).

Tiffany emphasized her choice, stating, “I believe the Four Horsewomen would be, you know, the Mount Rushmore of women’s wrestling.”

In her interview, Tiffany also expressed her admiration for one of the Four Horsewomen, Charlotte Flair, whom she considers a major influence on her wrestling journey. Tiffany even mentioned that Charlotte Flair is her dream opponent due to her first impression of Charlotte’s beauty, strength, and athleticism when she first saw her on TV.

She explained, “I’ve definitely said this before, but I’ll say it again, Charlotte Flair [is her dream opponent]. She’s part of the reason why I got into wrestling. She was the first women’s wrestler that I saw on my TV screen, and when I saw her, I was immediately taken aback by someone who was so beautiful, so strong, could do all the flips and gymnastics, and I thought it was so cool. So I think Charlotte Flair is a huge dream match for me.”

Although Tiffany hasn’t had the chance to face Charlotte Flair yet, she did have a match with another member of the Four Horsewomen, Becky Lynch. While Tiffany lost her NXT Women’s Championship to Becky Lynch in that bout, she believes it elevated her status in the wrestling world rather than burying her.

She countered the notion that she was buried, saying, “No, not even in the slightest. I feel like even being in the same ring with Becky Lynch just immediately makes my stock go up. I feel like Becky brought out the best in me in that match, and even though I lost the title, I feel like I did not come out with a loss.”

In June, Tiffany Stratton expressed her desire for a Triple Threat match involving herself, Bianca Belair, and Charlotte Flair. These two women are among the most prominent female stars in the wrestling industry. Bianca Belair holds the record for the longest RAW Women’s Title reign at 420 days, while Charlotte Flair has an impressive 14 women’s titles to her name.

During an appearance on Up NXT in June, Tiffany stated, “I would have to say a Triple Threat between me, Charlotte Flair, and Bianca Belair. I think we are all highly athletic, highly competitive, and I honestly believe you will not find a better women’s match in history.”

Tiffany also shared that Charlotte Flair was her inspiration to become a wrestler. She recounted discovering Charlotte on a random SmackDown night and being captivated by her appearance and abilities. This moment led her to pursue a career in professional wrestling, which eventually became a reality.

In a recent event, Tiffany Stratton had the opportunity to take a picture with Charlotte Flair, which she shared on Twitter. This moment excited fans who believed that the two might one day headline WrestleMania. Tiffany’s dream is coming true as she meets her wrestling idols.

Looking ahead, Tiffany Stratton has an upcoming rematch against Becky Lynch at NXT No Mercy on September 30, with the winner earning a shot at Tegan Nox for the title on RAW the following Monday. On the other hand, Charlotte Flair is set to face Bayley on SmackDown this coming Friday, keeping her busy in the ring.
