Jey Uso vs. Damian Priest Is Confirmed For the Next Episode Of WWE RAW – 02nd October 2023

1 years ago By Sports Desk

On the 29th of September 2023, during the exhilarating WWE SmackDown show, a commercial revelation left the WWE Universe abuzz. The announcement confirmed that on the next episode of WWE RAW, scheduled for 02nd October 2023, Jey Uso would step into the ring against Damian Priest.

Jey Uso, known is one half of the dominant WWE Tag Team Champions and a force to be reckoned with. On the other side of the equation stands Damian Priest, a behemoth known for his raw strength and punishing style. These two gladiators coming face-to-face promises to be a clash for the ages.

The backstory to this monumental match-up adds more fuel to the impending fire. Two weeks ago on RAW, the wrestling world was taken aback when Jey Uso spurned an invitation from Finn Balor and the Judgment Day faction to join their ranks. Instead of embracing the offer, Uso responded by leveling members of the group, sending a clear message of defiance. This past Monday, Uso reemphasized his decision, declaring his intention to stay away from aligning with any factions, especially after his recent fallout with the Bloodline, the renowned Samoan wrestling dynasty.

Last Monday’s RAW further escalated tensions. In the evening’s main event, Damian Priest, alongside his partner Finn Balor, managed to retain the Tag Team titles, staving off the relentless challenge from Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. However, the match was not devoid of controversy. Members of the Judgment Day and JD McDonagh interfered multiple times, tilting the odds in favor of Priest and Balor.

As the final bell rang and chaos ensued, Judgment Day continued their assault on the already beleaguered Owens and Zayn. But in a scene reminiscent of classic wrestling cavalry charges, Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso stormed the ring to restore a semblance of order, evening the odds and sending the Judgment Day members retreating.

The stage is now set. The motivations are clear. Jey Uso, fresh off his heroics, looks to settle scores against Damian Priest. Priest, on the other hand, has every reason to defend his faction’s honor and prove his dominance. These two titans will clash in what promises to be a match filled with intensity, athleticism, and drama. It’s the kind of battle that only WWE RAW can deliver.

With the entire WWE Universe awaiting this contest with bated breath, one thing is clear: Monday Night Raw on 02nd October 2023 is a must-watch. Both superstars are in their prime, both have something to prove, and neither will back down. As the age-old adage goes, there can only be one winner. Who will it be?

After this thriller, we already have some more matches for the WWE RAW. Starting with, Ivar will be facing Xavier Woods in an exciting match. This comes after Ivar’s big win against Kofi Kingston last week. Another thrilling match to watch out for is Shayna Baszler against Nia Jax. Shayna, who had a tough time last week, will be looking to settle scores with Nia, her old wrestling friend.

There’s more! Drew McIntyre is going to be a guest on Miz TV. Fans are eager to hear what he has to say, especially because he didn’t get to finish talking last Monday. Will he explain what he wanted to say? We’ll have to wait and see!

For fans of the NXT Women’s Championship, there’s a big match to look forward to. Either Becky Lynch or Tiffany Stratton will be defending their title, and they’ll be facing Tegan Nox. Damian Priest will also have a big night. Not only is he wrestling against Jey Uso, but he’s also scheduled to be on Miz TV.

Lastly, for the Intercontinental Championship, there’s going to be a special event. Gunther and Tommaso Ciampa will both be present for a contract signing. This means they’ll be officially agreeing to wrestle each other soon.

All in all, the upcoming WWE RAW promises to be a night full of surprises and action. Wrestling fans everywhere are in for a treat!
