FOX Censored “You Are An A*shole” Chants During The Rock Segment At WWE Smackdown
In this week’s episode of SmackDown, something exciting happened in Denver, Colorado. The Rock made a surprise return, and it was quite a spectacle.
The Rock and Pat McAfee had a lengthy conversation on McAfee’s show, and afterward, they decided to do something special for the WWE fans.
The episode was filled with big-name stars making appearances. Pat McAfee kicked things off with a surprise entrance, but he was soon interrupted by Austin Theory. They were having a heated exchange when McAfee declared that the show belonged to the people. Then, out of nowhere, The Rock’s music started playing, and he made his grand entrance into the ring.
The People’s Champion grabbed the microphone and put Theory in his place. This segment lasted longer than expected, causing some other parts of the show to be cut, as reported by Battleground Wrestling Entertainment (BWE) on Twitter and other outlets.
Despite the delays, The Rock had a blast. He even got the crowd to chant some not-so-nice words at Austin Theory. FOX had to use their censorship button quite a bit, but the fans in Denver were ecstatic to see The Rock. Honestly, he could have asked them to chant anything, and they would have done it enthusiastically. The Brahma Bull cracked jokes at Theory’s expense and then delivered a spinebuster and The People’s Elbow. Pat McAfee joined in the fun and hit Theory with his version of The People’s Elbow too.
Additionally, during the show, The Rock had a backstage reunion with his former rival, John Cena. Cena warmly welcomed him back, and the two legendary figures exchanged handshakes and hugs. This was a touching moment, considering their epic battles at WrestleMania 28 and 29.
As for what this surprise appearance means for the future, it’s still uncertain. We’ll have to wait and see if it leads to a bigger storyline or if it was just a one-time event.
