Drew McIntyre Says He Has No Interest In Joining Faction In WWE
Drew McIntyre is a bit in no man’s land in WWE right now since he returned to programming after several months away. He has not stopped appearing on television, especially teaming up with Matt Riddle, but they have not done anything notable nor does it seem that his alliance is going to go much further. Also, The Scottish Warrior is about to renew his contract, so maybe the company isn’t going to do anything big with him until he does. And we already know that they don’t trust The Original Bro.
► Drew McIntyre, without factions
That said, it doesn’t seem like a faction could be a good solution for the former two-time WWE Champion. The first reason is that he does not fit into any of the current ones: The Bloodline, The Judgment Day, Imperium … The second is that nothing is happening around him which indicates that he is going to form another one himself. And the third is that there are already several and no more are needed at the moment. On the other hand, not even McIntyre himself is interested, as he explains in Wrestling report.
I don’t know, I’ve always felt more like a lone wolf, and I’ve noticed that a lot of people have been forming factions and taking advantage of them. You mentioned The Bloodline. There’s a reason I wasn’t giving Jey Uso a big hug when he showed up on Monday Night Raw, he was kicking my head in for six months straight and making sure he didn’t make me the Undisputed Champion. I just can’t imagine being part of a group right now .”
We will have to continue to see what happens with him week by week and what happens with his team with Riddle. Maybe it wouldn’t be a bad idea for him to betray him by turning heel and having a rivalry between the two, at least to occupy these months before the start of the Road to WrestleMania.
