Dolph Ziggler Wants John Cena To Team Up With R-Truth

1 years ago By Sports Desk

Former World champion Dolph Ziggler has come up with an intriguing idea for who should be John Cena’s tag team partner moving forward on WWE SmackDown.

Cena, who’s been absent for a while, surprised everyone by showing up at WWE Money in the Bank on July 1st. During his appearance, he suggested that WWE should hold WrestleMania in London. However, his speech was interrupted by Grayson Waller, an Australian wrestler, who decided to exchange some words with Cena. Unfortunately for Waller, his trash-talking led to him receiving an Attitude Adjustment from Cena.

There have been various rumors about what WWE has planned for Cena upon his return. It was officially announced on Last Night’s Smackdown that he will be the host for Payback tonight in Pittsburgh. Insider reports suggest that WWE is also considering a feud between Cena and Cody Rhodes.

Before Cena’s return on the recent SmackDown, a former champion, Dolph Ziggler, expressed a unique idea on Twitter. Ziggler proposed that Cena should team up with R-Truth on the blue brand in the future.

In other WWE news, the company is heading to India for the Superstar Spectacle event on September 8th. This event will take place at the G.M.C. Balayogi Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad, India, and while it won’t be televised, John Cena is set to participate. Cena will join forces with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins to take on Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci.

Looking back, Cena challenged Austin Theory for the United States Championship at WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles. Although Theory won that match, he couldn’t sustain his success and eventually lost the title to Rey Mysterio. It will be intriguing to see if Cena and Theory reignite their rivalry in the coming weeks on SmackDown.
