Lee follows up with a Tope Con Giro and continues to attack Dragunov with headbutts. Result: Ilja Dragunov wins by pinfall, earning the right to challenge for the NXT Championship. Post-Match: NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes comes out and exchanges words with Dragunov. Tiffany Stratton arrives at the arena. Vic Joseph provides a serious update on Bron Breakker’s post-match attack on Von Wagner. Wagner has suffered a skull injury and, due to his history of such injuries, there’s no clear timeline for his return, and specialists are evaluating his condition. In-Ring Segment: Baron Corbin Baron Corbin takes the microphone and discusses Bron Breakker’s brutal attack on Von Wagner. Corbin praises Breakker for his actions, and both men seem to revel in Wagner’s suffering. Corbin tries to align himself with Breakker, but it ends with Breakker challenging Corbin to a match at No Mercy. A physical confrontation ensues, with Corbin punching Breakker, and security intervenes.
