Anthony Joshua: “I Face Challenges Head-On,” Confirms Agreements With Tyson Fury And Deontay Wilder

11 months ago By Jhon Woug

There is one name whose voice fills the entire boxing terrain: Anthony Joshua. The pride of England, Johnny B, has built himself into champion class with two heavyweight world titles won. Nevertheless, despite his impressive track record, he hasn’t faced two significant adversaries on his opponent list: Tyson Fury is a pretender to Wilder 2.

Joshua showed his efforts to Fury and Wilder during his latest interview about failed attempts to make a deal. Despite being discouraged by missed opportunities, he is still up to ‘choosing his own path.’ And suddenly, the 34-year-old said both previous arrangements of fights had been with the opponents, and for some unpredictable reasons, those fights failed to happen.

Like any good slugger, Joshua expressed his feelings by saying that meeting up with each other during fight week is great because we get to clear the legal mechanics and sign the contract before the fight. However, he is very irritated by the fact that it takes more time for the bout to be approved. But let me tell you this: the cancellation of this bout is not completely hopeless.

From the very first day he stepped into a gym, Joshua demonstrated an extraordinary desire to get in the ring and to fight for the best against all odds. And more than once, the warrior stood between Klitschko and Usyk to show his courage.

In spite of the fact that he encountered defeat at the hands of Fury and Wilder, he was not discouraged in his resolve to transact in ethics, not only in part but in full, without let or hindrance of context. He knew that he was the best, and he would not only claim but also demonstrate the submission of his rival.

Thoughtfully over his career, with his comment, “I have privileged myself to battle with Fury, Wilder, and numerous other fighters,”  he interpreted that as being the end of the process of successful boxing, which was his legacy, his ability to perform business, and also winning the hearts of the people in Belfast.

The upcoming alluring bout with the previous champion of UFC, Francis Ngannou, is the next step Joshua is taking to trace the way of a fierce fighter by standing up to the world-class fighters. In the coming months, there is much hype building around the potential duel between Ngannou and Fury, and Joshua is delighted to see how he can match his competence with that of the reigning WBC champion.

With Ngannou pulling out an impressive outing against Tyson Fury, it becomes a good suggestion that he sees his own skills based on that.

Jesse devotes more than just his talent every day to the art of boxing, which is supposed to have led him to the top of the world. His iron will and vigour to excel even in the psychology and physical parts are that he has adamant mental strength even if the fighters are bringing hard punches. It is the courage to undertake a challenge that excites him to more victories. It is not discouraging at all, but inspiring to him.

“By the way, I have just a simple piece of advice for you. Take never your adversaries lightly, said Joshua. Better to be more conservative and overestimate individual and group in-depth performances because they never breed any kind of surprise, especially at this stage.

Joshua’s boxing training is not just a simple exercise for his body but, all in all, a journey to find himself. During every match, he’s showered with intangible lessons in regard to his shortcomings as well as his strengths, which propel him to lift his plateau of fitness. It’s not just shining at this occupation that reflects overcoming challenges and conquering oneself; it counts the championships as well.

Joshua started asking, “Being a superhero, what is the last boundary I can touch? Besides endurance, that will keep my mind going for a long time before giving up and surrendering.”

Josh has prepared himself so much to face Ngannou on March 8th in the UAE, and his only interest is to give everything in that fight. Although it is alluring for him to have one eye on what’s next with Fury and Wilder, his central focus remains on Mayweather’s opponent, which will be made known at a future date.

With each fight Joshua indulges in, he becomes more eligible to be honoured as a worthy boxing champion—a person who confidently and unwaveringly faces whatever comes their way and stares at challenges in the eye.
