5 Active WWE Superstars Who Might Miss Crown Jewel 2023

1 years ago By Jhon Woug

WWE Crown Jewel 2023 is rapidly approaching, and as the anticipation builds for the marquee premium live event scheduled for November 4 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, fans are wondering which top WWE Superstars will be in attendance and who might end up missing the show.

One of the most notable absences on the potential list is none other than “Man” herself, Becky Lynch. The Irish Lass Kicker has been a pivotal figure in the WWE women’s division for years. However, reports suggest that Becky Lynch might sit this one out. Though her absence would be disappointing for fans, there could be valid reasons behind it.

While it’s essential to note that the card for such major events can change, as of now, Becky Lynch is not officially listed for a match at Crown Jewel. Instead, she’s advertised for a house show in Rochester, New York, taking place on the same day as Crown Jewel. This scheduling conflict raises questions about her participation.

Additionally, other top Superstars who might find themselves absent from Crown Jewel 2023 include some fan favourites like Kofi Kingston, Carlito, Grayson Waller, The Street Profits, The Brawling Brutes, and Omos. These are names that WWE fans love to see in action, but they could be occupied with the Rochester live event, which could result in their absence in Saudi Arabia.

It’s important to mention that WWE’s promotional strategies can change, and sometimes last-minute surprises and changes to the card are not uncommon. So, while it’s possible that these superstars may miss Crown Jewel 2023, there’s still a chance they might make it to the event.

As it stands, Crown Jewel 2023 has two confirmed matches. Seth “Freakin” Rollins, the World Heavyweight Champion, is set to defend his title against Drew McIntyre, promising a showdown that could steal the spotlight. On the women’s side, Rhea Ripley faces a challenging task as she puts her Women’s World Championship on the line in a fatal-five-way match against Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, and Raquel Rodriguez.

The anticipation is also building for a potential matchup between Roman Reigns and LA Knight, which could likely headline the show. The WWE Universe eagerly awaits official announcements to confirm this marquee clash.

In addition to Becky Lynch, the absence of Kofi Kingston at Crown Jewel 2023 would leave a void at the event. Kingston, known for his high-flying and charismatic style, has been a fan favourite for years. While he’s not officially listed for the event, fans can hope for a surprise appearance or a change in the card.

Carlito, the “Caribbean Cool” Superstar, is another name on the list of potential absentees. His return to WWE in 2021 was met with excitement, and his presence would undoubtedly add flair to Crown Jewel. However, like Becky Lynch and Kofi Kingston, his participation is uncertain.

Grayson Waller, a promising talent from NXT 2.0, has been making waves in the developmental brand. He’s a charismatic performer who has the potential to become a future WWE superstar. While he’s advertised for the Rochester house show, it would be intriguing to see if he makes an appearance at Crown Jewel, showcasing his skills on a global stage.

The Street Profits, Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford, are a popular tag team known for their electrifying entrances and in-ring chemistry. Their potential absence at Crown Jewel would be a disappointment for fans who enjoy their energetic performances. Nevertheless, wrestling often comes with unexpected twists, and they might still find a way onto the card.

The Brawling Brutes, a unique tag team featuring Tyson T-Bone and Saxon Huxley, have been making their mark in NXT UK. While they aren’t as widely recognised as some other Superstars, their participation at Crown Jewel would demonstrate WWE’s commitment to showcasing talent from various divisions.

Omos, who stands at an imposing 7 feet 3 inches, has been a dominant force in WWE. His presence at Crown Jewel would undoubtedly turn heads, as fans have enjoyed seeing him in action alongside AJ Styles. However, just like the others, Omos’s appearance is uncertain at this point.

Becky Lynch, on the other hand, is a significant absence if she indeed misses Crown Jewel. As one of the most prominent superstars in WWE’s women’s division, her absence would be felt. Fans have witnessed her incredible journey, from “The Man” to “The Mom,” and they eagerly await her return to the grand stage.

WWE’s scheduling of a house show on the same day as Crown Jewel in Rochester, New York, adds an element of uncertainty to the participation of these Superstars. While this may be a strategic move to accommodate a diverse range of events, it also leaves fans speculating about who will make it to Crown Jewel and who won’t.
