All Confirmed Matches For WWE Fastlane 2023
After this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, two matches were officially confirmed during the September 25, 2023, episode of the red brand. Let’s dive right into it.
Initially, John Cena and AJ Styles were set to team up against Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa at Fastlane. However, AJ Styles was viciously attacked by The Bloodline members on SmackDown last week, and Cena also fell victim to the brothers during the show’s main event.
During RAW, WWE announced that John Cena will now face Jimmy and Jey in a two-on-one handicap match at Fastlane 2023. There’s a possibility that the 16-time world champion might receive unexpected assistance from a prominent superstar on this week’s SmackDown, potentially leading to a traditional tag team match for the main event.
Another match added to the updated Fastlane 2023 card is Seth Rollins versus Shinsuke Nakamura. Rollins had challenged Nakamura to choose the stipulation for their World Heavyweight Championship bout, and Nakamura opted for a Last Man Standing match.
Previously, Nakamura had failed to dethrone Seth for the world title at Payback 2023, and he took out his frustration on Rollins with a post-match assault, which was featured on WWE Exclusive.
Here’s the current Fastlane 2023 card as of Monday, September 25:
Fastlane is set for October 7, 2023, in Indianapolis, IN, and the match card includes:
1. Seth “Freakin” Rollins (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura in a Last Man Standing match for the World Heavyweight Championship.
2. John Cena vs. The Bloodline (Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa) in a Two-on-One Handicap match.
Additionally, next week’s edition of WWE RAW will feature an NXT Women’s Championship match and more. Here’s a glimpse of the updated lineup for next week’s show:
– NXT Women’s Championship Match: Becky Lynch OR Tiffany Stratton vs. Tegan Nox
– GUNTHER and Tommaso Ciampa will sign the contract for their WWE Intercontinental Championship match at WWE Fastlane 2023.
