John Cena, Big E, And Other Superstars React On The Release Of Dolph Ziggler From WWE

1 years ago By Sports Desk

It has been a significant day for WWE as the company has let go of several Superstars, and the following individuals are no longer part of the company:

Departures from the Main Roster include:

1. Mustafa Ali

2. Emma

3. Elias

4. Top Dolla

5. Rick Boogs

6. Riddick Moss

7. Aliyah

8. Shelton Benjamin

9. Dolph Ziggler

10. Tenille Dashwood

Departures from WWE NXT include:

1. Quincy Elliott

2. Bryson Montana

3. Dana Brooke

4. Mansoor

5. Mace

6. Dabba-Kato (formerly known as Commander Azeez on the main roster)

7. Shanky

8. Yulisa León

9. Daniel McArthur

The wrestling world is currently reacting to these releases, and many people are surprised that WWE has chosen to part ways with Dolph Ziggler. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion originally joined the company in 2004 and has worked with some prominent names since then.

Here’s how some well-known figures have responded to Dolph Ziggler’s release on social media (formerly known as Twitter):

1) John Cena

John Cena, one of the greatest WWE World Heavyweight Champions of all time, recognized Ziggler’s hard work by tweeting the following:

“One thousand five hundred and fifty-four matches. @HEELZiggler #Respect”

2) Big E

Big E, who began his main roster journey as an enforcer for AJ Lee and Dolph Ziggler, shared a heartfelt message for Ziggler with this post:

“I was incredibly fortunate to start my time on the main roster alongside @HEELZiggler. I learned many lessons about this craft by watching and listening. He is one of the smoothest workers I’ve ever been in the ring with. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me, Zig Man.”

3) Trinity Fatu (formerly known as Naomi in WWE)

Naomi, the current Impact Knockout Champion who was released earlier this year along with her tag team partner Sasha Banks (now known as Mercedes Mone) due to backstage issues with WWE, expressed her support for Dolph with the hashtag #dolphziggler and a love emoji.

4) Shawn Spears (formerly known as Tye Dillinger in WWE)

Shawn Spears, who currently works for AEW, offered words of encouragement for Ziggler in his unique way when he wrote:

“I’m a big @HEELZiggler fan. He’s the man. Now, let’s have a match.”

5) Brian Myers (formerly known as Curt Hawkins in WWE)

Brian Myers, who currently works for Impact Wrestling, declared:

“My favorite wrestler: @HEELZiggler”

6) Breeze (formerly known as Tyler Breeze in WWE)

Tyler Breeze, who still has a role in WWE but not as a wrestler, as he’s a member of the UpUpDownDown Channel, showed his appreciation for Ziggler with a fire emoji and the words, “@HEELZiggler The man.”

7) Swerve Strickland

Swerve Strickland, a current AEW wrestler and part of the stable The Mogul Embassy, who also had a stint in WWE, simply wrote “Nemeth.”

In an update, Sean Ross Sapp reports that all of these released superstars have 90-day non-compete clauses, which means they cannot sign with other wrestling promotions for the next three months, effectively covering the rest of 2023.
