Chris Jericho’s Statement Explains What Happened Between CM Punk And Jack Perry
Several weeks have passed and there have been consequences, but there is still talk about what happened in the AEW All In: London locker room between Jack Perry and CM Punk, a problem that ended with the suspension of Jack Perry and the dismissal of CM Punk.
Chris Jericho, one of the greatest authorities in the All Elite Wrestling locker room, was interviewed this week on Busted Open, where he had to answer questions about the problems that occurred that day. Jericho assured that these are things that normally happen in a locker room and indicated that the press wanted to magnify the problem.
“But it’s wrestling, man. It’s just rock ‘n’ roll. I think people like to focus on the negative. I remember when I got into a fight with Goldberg in Milwaukee, it was all over the Internet 10 minutes later… Like this “This is not the first time there have been incidents behind the scenes. It happens. I just think now with the media on social media, people want to jump on the negative.”
“We know the problems. The problems have been rectified. But the point is that there are a lot of positive things happening. And those things are always downplayed a little bit. But it’s the negative that is focused on. I know what’s going on in the locker room, and “We know what areas we need to work in. Negative press is negative press .”
“Again, of the 81,000 people at Wembley Stadium, how many know what happened? You know what I mean, the journalists, and the people who do this care. And we should care. But there are also fans. .. not just 81,000, who think: how about being number one on cable television four weeks in a row? Number one, the number one show of all shows on Wednesdays, is AEW .”
“So to me, that’s a big positive thing that also gets lost in the shuffle because someone is in a bad mood one day, or whatever. It happens, it’s wrestling. We’re all gipsies, tramps and thieves, and there will be problems from time to time”.
