WWE NXT Preview And Prediction: How, When & Where To Watch In USA, Europe & India – 22 August 2023
The NXT Champion, Carmelo Hayes, has a point to prove at Heatwave as he looks to silence Wes Lee and continue his dominance. All eyes will be on the Challenger as Wes Lee has talked about the big game on social media all week long. It is these make-or-break matches that decide where a superstar’s career will move in the upcoming months. With the entire roster watching, Carmelo Hayes will want to show no sign of weakness and shun any competition that may take note.
The show is also scheduled to have the much-talked-about NXT North American Champion, who, along with the WWE World Women’s Champion, is scheduled to face Dragon Lee and Lyra Valkyria. Dominik Mysterio wants to send a message via Dragon Led to the entire WWE Universe as he looks to claim the throne of Mr. Mysterio from his father’s pick. Here is a preview of more things to come on the show tonight:
Baron Corbin vs. Von Wagner
The big men will be on their A game as Constable Baron Corbin takes on Von Wagner. Von Wagner has been making a name for himself of late and may have just hit a dead end as Baron Corbin stands in his way. The former King of the Ring winner may be Olympic slammed and reminded of Kurt Angle tonight at the Performance Centre in Florida, though he may tell you otherwise.
Ilja Dragunov vs. Trick Williams
Trick Williams gets another opportunity to shine and prove to the NXT faithful that he is meant for the big leagues. Trick Williams has been trying to get the fans behind him recently and will need all of that to beat Dragunov, whom many regard as one of the smoothest wrestlers in the ring.
Tiffany Stratton vs. TBA
The NXT women’s champion is said to appear on tonight’s episode, but it remains to be seen who she finds worthy enough of a match with her.
