5 Records That WWE Survivor Series 2023 Can Make

The Thanksgiving tradition of WWE Survivor Series returns this year on Saturday, November 25th, 2023 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. Survivor Series 2023 is the 37th season which we are going to witness in couple of weeks. In these 37 years from 1987, we have already witnessed most iconic moments of WWE, like debut of The Undertaker. In these years, we have seen various superstars making new records every year. Now again we could witness the same, here we bring 5 records that WWE Survivor Series can make.

One anticipated record that could be made this year involves Charlotte Flair’s match tally at the event. Flair has notched 3 career victories so far at Survivor Series, with her last win coming back in 2017. She bested Alexa Bliss in a Champion vs. Champion match. However, Flair’s longtime rival Becky Lynch currently holds the record for most women’s division wins at the event with 4. This record was originally made by Bayley at 4 wins before Lynch broke it by defeating Flair and Bayley in a Triple Threat match at Survivor Series 2019.

With their storied history, it would be fitting for Charlotte Flair to tie Lynch’s record this year at 4 wins. A potential match with Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair could accomplish this. The former Intercontinental Champion has not competed in a singles match at a premium live event in over 16 years. Since then, Carlito has made sporadic WWE appearances but primarily competed in tag team matches or multi-man bouts. She currently holds the mark for most Survivor Series pay-per-view appearances by a female performer, with 9 total spanning her decorated career. Natalya has competed at every Survivor Series dating back to her debut in 2008, except for in 2009 when she was injured.

No other woman even comes close to touching Natalya’s Survivor Series longevity. The only active stars with a chance are Charlotte Flair at 7 appearances and Sasha Banks with 6. However, with both women focused on championship matches rather than traditional Survivor Series bouts this year, it appears Natalya’s record is safe once again.

This year, Natalya will extend her benchmark to double digits, hitting the impressive milestone of 10 career Survivor Series pay-per-views. Despite stepping away from WWE TV earlier this year, the veteran returned in May and has been actively competing on Monday Night Raw ever since. She has already qualified for the 5-on-5 elimination match at Survivor Series 2023.

At 41 years old, it is hard to predict how much longer Natalya’s in-ring career will last. But she shows no signs of slowing down yet.
